So get this – I hired this big shot flooring and tile company in town to do up all the flooring in our crib, including the master shower tile. The first crew they sent over did such a botch job that the water in the shower couldn’t even find its way to the drain, and what did make it through ended up raining down on our living room floor. Can you believe it?
Anyway, the company promised to fix everything up and sent over their top guy to sort things out. So, this dude shows up on a Friday, all ready to re-install the wall tiles and build the curb like a pro. But let me tell you, it looks like this guy just stumbled upon a tile for the first time in his life.
I mean, nothing lines up straight – the tiles are all wonky and some are even overlapping. It’s like a puzzle gone wrong. And don’t even get me started on the corners – they’re all over the place. The bottom row of tiles? Forget about it, they’re practically hugging the floor tiles with no room for grout.
Oh, and the cutting job? Terrible. Instead of using a tile saw like a normal person, this guy must have been using a butter knife because the tiles are all chipped and jagged. And the amount of mastic he slapped on there? It’s like he was trying to build a cement fortress.
But wait, there’s more. The curb tile? It’s cut crooked, off-center, and just chilling on the floor tile like it owns the place. It’s a mess, to say the least.
So, long story short, I thought I was getting a top-notch tile job, but what I got was a comedy of errors. Now, I’m left scratching my head wondering how in the world this guy is considered the best they’ve got. Guess it’s back to the drawing board for me.
