Hey guys, just wanted to share some exciting news with you all – we finally sold our house! Phew, what a relief! The buyers signed on Saturday and everything was funded this morning, so it’s official – we can start celebrating now!
I want to give a big shoutout to all my internet friends who gave me the courage and support I needed to make this happen. Honestly, I was having some serious doubts about the whole selling process. But with your encouragement, I decided to make a change.
After that post, we decided to part ways with our old realtor and switched to a new one. And let me tell you, it was like night and day! The new realtor was on top of things – they did social media posts, organized broker’s open houses, decluttered and staged our house, and even got new photos taken. They were constantly reaching out to potential buyers and kept me updated every step of the way.
We ended up going under contract for $405,000, and even though we had to make some changes the buyers wanted, we still managed to sell for $400,000. The whole process from getting the signed offer to closing took less than two weeks. Pretty impressive, right?
Now, I can’t help but think about how if we had sold back in March, we might have made more money. It’s a bit disappointing, but hey, that’s how it goes. I just wish we had made the switch to a new realtor sooner. I felt like we weren’t getting the support we needed, but I didn’t have the confidence to push for a change.
