What Happens If Tenants Refuse to Leave After Sale?

So, I just wanted to give you all a quick update on this whole property situation I’ve found myself in. Basically, we made a deal that the tenants had to be out within 59 days after we closed the deal. To make sure this happens smoothly, I offered them some cash in exchange for the keys. I’m actually meeting them this Thursday to confirm everything. If they’re cool with the deal, I’ll be relieved. But, truth be told, I’m starting to freak out a bit about what could go wrong. Like, what if they refuse to leave or get all hostile about it? The contract says they have to be out “after close,” but the more I look into it, the more it seems like it’s on me personally to make sure they’re out. What if the seller doesn’t hold up their end of the deal by not getting the tenants out in time? It’s causing me major anxiety. The closing date is set for August 9th, and I just finished dealing with all the HOA documents and questionnaire.
